This privacy policy explains how Gordon's Tree Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal information when you visit gordonstrees.co.uk or get in touch with us. We are the data controller for the information you provide.

What we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, and the message you write. We only ask for what we need to respond to your enquiry.

How we use it

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and arrange any work you ask us to carry out. Our lawful basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to potential and existing customers, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our website and receive enquiries:

  • Cloudflare — hosts our website and delivers it securely.
  • Resend — delivers the email generated by our contact form to our inbox.
  • Microsoft 365 — the mailbox where we receive and store your enquiry.

These providers only process your information on our behalf and in line with their own privacy and security obligations.

Cookies & tracking

Our website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our host may set essential cookies needed to serve the site securely and reliably.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to deal with your request and to keep reasonable records of work we have quoted for or carried out. After that we delete or securely archive it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, just contact us using the details below.
